Yogini is a graduate of NUJS, Kolkata, and a Young India Fellow from Ashoka University. A research and advocacy professional, her previous stints include the Carbon Removal India Alliance, the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, and the Centre for Policy Research. Her work has spanned a variety of areas, including climate, public health, and urban sanitation. Her experience combines policy research, steering organizational impact, and designing communications strategies. Yogini’s research has covered topics such as air pollution, faecal sludge management in urban contexts, and public health emergency legislations. She has also worked on projects to make complex legal and policy topics more accessible, including documentaries on implementation of environmental law, and co-hosting a podcast on vaccine policy. Yogini is strongly interested in climate policy, and understanding and navigating its governance and advocacy challenges.
