Ishita is a political strategy and research professional with experience spanning campaign management, policy analysis, and voter outreach. She holds degrees in politics from Oxford University, TISS Hyderabad, and IIT Gandhinagar, where her work explored themes such as gender quotas, celebrity politics, and political participation. Ishita has previously worked with the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) on campaigns in Bihar and Goa, and as a consultant with GIZ on health policy projects. She also served as a senior consultant with the Jan Suraaj Young Leadership Program, where she led large teams in grassroots political mobilization across Bihar. Ishita’s interests lie in the intersections of gender, political communication, and democratic participation in South Asia. Outside work, Ishita enjoys traveling, studying South Asian politics, and, occasionally, deep dives into Bollywood cinema.
