Ananta is a lawyer with several years of experience navigating the intersection of law, technology, and governance. She holds a master’s degree in law from UC Berkeley School of Law, with a specialization in technology laws, and began her career as a LAMP Fellow. Most recently, she served as an Assistant Manager – Public Policy and Advocacy at InMobi, where she led strategic engagement and advocacy initiatives. Prior to this, she worked as a Technology Policy Consultant at MeitY, contributing to key initiatives such as the IndiaAI Mission and the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI). Additionally, through her voluntary work with AI Kiran, Ananta has successfully led efforts to develop government partnerships and drafted collaboration proposals for strategic initiatives at the intersection of AI and women’s empowerment. Driven by the complexities of India’s digital transformation, she is motivated by the challenge of crafting policy frameworks that balance rapid innovation with legal robustness.
