Amrit has experience as a senior aide to Members of Parliament. As a LAMP Fellow of the 2022-23 cohort, he worked with Mr. Ram Mohan Naidu, MP on his parliamentary debates, private member bills, and research oriented towards the Committee on Public Undertakings. Later, he was the Policy Lead at the office of Mr. Krishna Prasad Tenneti, MP, co-authoring reports on school education, MSMEs, and metrics for ‘Viksit Bharat’. He also led advocacy efforts for the office with various Union Ministries along with parliamentary engagement and collaboration with civil society.
Amrit is a Sociology graduate and has cleared the Odisha Civil Services Examination in the past. He holds a keen interest in foreign policy, history, and decoding sociological patterns in everyday life.
