A lawyer by training, Saswat holds an integrated degree in Business and Law (B.B.A. LL.B.) from the KIIT School of Law. Prior to joining TQH, Saswat served as a LAMP Fellow with MP Mr. P.P. Chaudhary, Chairperson of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on One Nation One Election. In this role, he supported the committee’s foundational groundwork alongside managing extensive stakeholder engagement across multiple parliamentary standing committees. His tenure also involved crafting strategic interventions on DISHA and judicial reforms for presentations at the Prime Minister’s Office. Saswat also brings specialized experience from the technology sector, having worked on policy and regulatory frameworks for the online gaming industry at Head Digital Works. Additionally, at The University of Chicago Trust, he collaborated with the Government of Odisha to institutionalize AI-driven data governance and optimize cross-departmental data architectures.
Outside of work, Saswat is passionate about New Institutional Economics, Mechanism Design, and exploring unconventional historical narratives. He is also an adventure sports enthusiast, enjoys discovering a wide range of music and is currently fascinated by the narrative density and mythology found in classical art.
