Tanisha Dasgupta is a development professional with experience in research, policy analysis, and monitoring and evaluation, with a strong focus on gender and livelihoods. She has worked as a Research Consultant at the Institute of Social Studies Trust (ISST), where she contributed to studies on the livelihoods and contributions of informal workers in Delhi’s circular economy, the experiences of ASHA workers with rapid digitalisation, and the design of scalable, inclusive care delivery models in low-income communities.
Tanisha has also conducted M&E for a South Asia–wide study on violence-free workplaces for women home-based workers across India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Delhi University.
